‘Our Brooklyn’ is a public art project and mural installation that was created for the Brooklyn Navy Yard and displayed on the Flushing Ave fence between Carlton Ave and Clermont Ave from April to November of 2025. After winning the RFP bid, Phoebe went on to design, fabricate and install the mural made of sealed plywood and layered acrylic. ‘What Shapes Our Brooklyn’ was an initiative of the piece where the surrounding community was asked to submit shapes that represent what they love about Brooklyn, relying on the use of abstract symbol to express ideal.
